Functievereisten

Your responsibilities include:

  • advising and collaborating intensively with customers in all the steps of the grant funding process from grants detection, proposal development and grant management.
  • defining, scoping and challenging innovation projects to deliver highly competitive proposals which include top quality scientific/technological content and substantiated business/investment cases. This involves deep interaction with customers and the exchange of literature, reports and documentation.
  • interacting with the various government agencies.
  • in the case of consortium projects taking an active coordinating lead among to ensure the project reflects all stakeholder interests.
  • supporting the customer with hands-on grant management of the innovation projects.
  • creating strong and lasting working relationships with customers and external stakeholders in collaboration with fellow team members.
  • keeping up with the latest technological trends and frontier innovation within the focus area of Data Science and Smart Tech.
  • staying up to date with the Flemish, Federal and European grant funding landscape within your focus area

PROFILE

We are looking for a match based on this description, you:

  • have experience with the development of R&D /innovation projects and writing professional technical reports.
  • can coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams to produce high quality and accurate projects.
  • have a master's degree or PhD in Computer Science Engineering, Physics, Electromechanics or a related technical field.
  • have a strong analytical skillset and resourcefulness to come to new perspectives and solutions.
  • enjoy ample autonomy and are result orientated.
  • have organisational talent, high level of initiative, quality awareness and commitment.
  • have good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in both written and verbal Dutch and English and a natural flair for technical writing.
